

Terms and Conditions
Provisional Booking
A provisional booking will be held for 14 days without obligation. After which, we require a deposit and letter of confirmation otherwise the date will be released.
Deposit and Confirmation
To confirm your booking we require a letter confirming the date and number of guests along with a non-refundable deposit of £500.00
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
- Before 24 weeks notice - deposit is held
- Between 16 and 24 weeks - 25% of the total booking value
- Between 8 and 16 weeks - 50% of the total booking value
- Less than 8 weeks - 100% of the booking total
The charge levies will be based on estimated food and beverage consumption. Estimated consumption is calculated on numbers stated in the most recent letter of confirmation between the hotel and guest. We will endeavour to re-sell the facilities and this will be taken into consideration on the final invoice.
Final Numbers
Final numbers must be confirmed 24 hours prior to your function. You will be charged for these numbers, unless numbers increase on the day.
If your confirmed numbers drop by more than 25% within 14 days of the event, anything over that will be charged at the agreed 'per guest' rate.
If numbers are reduced we reserve the right to re-allocate the room, to one more relevant to the size of the event.
Damages
The client shall be responsible for any damages to hotel rooms, grounds, furnishings, utensils and equipment therein by any act, default or neglect of the client, sub-contractor or guests of the client and shall pay to the hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.
We are concerned for your health and safety and that of our hotel. Permission must be obtained from the hotel if you wish to fix items to the walls floors or ceilings.
Outside Services
Prior consent of the hotel must be sought for any entertainment of services contracted for the function by the client and any display, which must comply with statutory codes and regulations.
Etiquette
The hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of the client, guests or representatives. The client must take all steps necessary for corrective action. In the event of failure to comply with hotel requests, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the contract and stop the event without liabilities to any refund or compensation.
General Liability
We do not accept liability for any failure to provide the services contracted which are due to circumstances beyond our control, including industrial action, postal communication, flooding, storm, inclement weather, supply of gas, electricity and water or fire alarm evacuation.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £500.00 is required to confirm a booking, 75% of the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the event, with the total amount payable 1 week prior to the event.
If you have asked us to provide items or services, which we have to obtain from an outside supplier such as flowers or entertainment, the charge will appear on your invoice. If you arrange any items directly with a supplier, it is your responsibility to settle the account with them.
